An item is a picture having 32x32 graphic pixels. This is the basic element of the sheet. Unlike a picture variable an item is not drawn by graphics commands, but it is displayed by positioning in the sheet. In the Windows environment it is the icon that is analogous to an item. In the main function the empty square item is predefined. This item is used as a default item for filling out the sheet.
